Prof. Dr. Badar Alam Iqbal, Ph.D, M.Com, DSW, DBA, BA (Hons) Eco, AIMA-Accredited Management Professor; International Accredited Organization’s Professor; USA; Adjunct Professor, Monarch Business School; Monarch University, Switzerland; Ex DAAD, Ford Foundation; IDE, Fellow and Ex-Fulbright Visiting Professor, began his career in 1978, as an Academician in various capacities and stature, such as, Lecturer during 1978 to 1986, Reader during 1986 to 1998, Professor from 1998 to Till date. Dean during 2006 to 2008, in the Faculty of Commerce, Chairman from April 2008 to March 2011, and presently working as Full Professor and Coordinator, Department of Commerce, Prof. Iqbal was Officiating Vice-Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University; Aligarh between December 2006-March 2007. Prof. Iqbal was Visiting Fellow at German Institute fro Economic Research, Berlin, Kiel Institute of World Economics, Kiel and South Asia Institute, University of Heidelberg in 1992, 1996 and 2000 respectively. Prof. Iqbal has 33 years teaching and 38 years Research exposure to his credit as a versatile and learned Academician and Scholar. Prof. Iqbal has been on the Visiting Professorship Panel in different Foreign Countries, such as, UK, USA, Australia, France, China, Hawaii, South Africa, Germany, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Qatar, and Thailand. He has been awarded many National and International Fellowships from DAAD, Germany, Ford Foundation, USA; USEFI, London School of Economics; London, and IDE, Tokyo. He is also on the Examiners’ Roll for M.Phil and Ph.D programs in the above countries.
